IBPM ("Intentional Business Planning," "IBPM," "we," "our," or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using the IBPM mobile application ("App").

By using IBPM, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Authentication information through Firebase Authentication

User Content

You may choose to create and store information within the App, including:

  • Business connections and contact information

  • Notes and follow-up reminders

  • Agenda and Calendar items

  • QR profile information

  • Social media and website links

  • Optional headshots or business logos for your digital business card

This information is collected solely to provide the App's features.

2. Camera & Notifications

Camera

IBPM requests camera access only when you choose to scan an IBPM QR code. Images captured during scanning are not stored by the App.

Notifications

With your permission, IBPM may send local notifications for reminders and planning features. Notification settings can be changed at any time through your device settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's functionality

  • Save and sync your data across your devices

  • Authenticate and secure your account

  • Enable QR code sharing and business card features

  • Deliver reminder notifications

  • Improve the reliability and performance of the App

4. Business Card Sharing

IBPM allows you to voluntarily share your digital business card with other users.

When another user saves your business card, they receive their own independent copy. They may edit or personalize their saved copy, including changing or removing photos, logos, banner colors, notes, and other information, without affecting your original profile.

5. Data Storage

Your information is securely stored using Firebase services to provide synchronization and account functionality.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

6. Third-Party Services

IBPM uses third-party services, including:

  • Firebase Authentication

  • Firebase Firestore

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.

7. External Links

IBPM may provide links to third-party websites or resources. Once you leave the App, those websites are governed by their own privacy policies, and IBPM is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

Information is shared only:

  • To provide App functionality through trusted service providers

  • When required by applicable law

9. Your Choices

You may:

  • Edit your information at any time within the App.

  • Permanently delete your account and associated data using the Delete Account option available within the App.

10. Children's Privacy

IBPM is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
